GENERAL PROPERTIESTempalux® CN is a static dissipative PolyEtherImide (Ultem ®). This material has the same general properties as unfilled Polyetherimide, but filled with carbon fibers to add static dissipative properties throughout -- a resistivity in the range of 104 to 106. It may be used to temperatures of 410°F (210°C) without degradation.
Tempalux® CN is available in sheet and solid round rod forms only and in BLACK color only.
Static Dissipative / Anti-Static (SD) :
Resistivity generally between 107 and 1012 ohms per square.
Initial electrostatic charges are suppressed.
Conductive (CN) :
Resistivity generally between 103 and 106 ohms per square.
No initial charge, provides path for charge to bleed off.
