About TECAPEEK ® PEEK

TECAPEEK PEEK (chemically known as polyetheretherketone) is available in in standard stock shapes for machining and is extruded in sheet, rod and tube using Victrex® PEEK 450G polymer. PEEK is a unique semi crystalline, engineering thermoplastic that also offers excellent chemical compatibility. In addition TECAPEEK is also produced using compression molding (TECAPEEK CM / XP), spin moulding (referred to as TECAPEEK SM) and injection moulding (called TECAPEEK IM). Which are available in sheet, rod, tube, near net shapes and machined parts.

TECAPEEK ® PEEK Key Properties

TECAPEEK PEEK offers a continuous use temperature up to 260°C (480°F) and has a melting point around 341°C (646°F). TECAPEEK is often used in hot water or steam environments while maintaining physical properties such as flexural and tensile strength on a high level.

TECAPEEK is available in unfilled and filled grades with a wide range of additives like glass, carbon fiber, PTFE, graphite and other additives for enhanced stiffness, lower COF, improved wear resistance, lower CLTE and more.
