Hydex® Grades & Key Properties
Hydex® PBT-P 4101 Grades
Hydex® 4101 offers excellent mechanical properties combined with good chemical resistance. PBT-P has good impact resistance and toughness, low coefficient of friction & wear, and does not need lubrication. It also is resistant to chemicals, chlorine, water, and steam. Hydex® 4101 is available in FDA-approved white and non-FDA black colors.
Hydex® 4101L is an internally-lubricated version designed for use in higher wear resistance, PV range and lower coefficient of friction applications.
Hydex® 4101 UD Blue is a ultra detectable grade for food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications that is visually, metal & x-ray detectable.
