GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EPM-2204U-W Ceramic-Filled PEEK Material (c) Boedeker Plastics 2007 EPM-2204U-W is a newly developed proprietary grade of VICTREX® PEEK that has been blended with ceramic fillers to significantly improve its mechanical properties. This product has excellent dimensional stability and tolerance control across a broad range of temperature and humidity conditions. The EPM-2204U-W grade maintains impact strength, stiffness and minimum levels of creep.

When compared to some traditional materials such as polyamideimide (PAI) and other imidized polymers, this grade based on VICTREX® PEEK polymer has greater hydrolytic stability. And, when compared with ceramics, it is half the weight and offers greater impact resistance and toughness. It also has excellent processability and wear performance. Additional benefits include good dielectric properties for insulative applications. The EPM-2204U-W grade offers excellent machinability for tighter pitch and fine diameter holes as required to produce integrated circuit test sockets.

EPM-2204U-W Ceramic-Filled PEEK is available in 1/4" thru 1" thick 12" x 12" sheets and 1/4" thr 1" diameter rod (12" long max) and is a clean  white  in color.
