General Info
Semitron® ESd 420V offers dissipative performance of 10^6 - 10^9 ohm/sq. over it's full temperature performance range. It is a stiff, high strength material that is not subject to dimensional change as a result of exposure to moisture. Semitron® ESd 420V is a cost effective alternative for applications that do not require the thermal performance of ultra-high performance materials.

Key Properties
- Surface resistivity 10^6 – 10^9 Ohm/Square (Static Dissipative Range)
- Thermal performance to 420°F (215°C) Continuous Use
- Semitron® ESd products are inherently dissipative. They do not rely on atmospheric phenomena (humidity) to activate, nor are surface treatments used to achieve dissipation. Static electricity is dissipated through these products as readily as it is dissipated along the surface.
Limitations
- Chemical Resistance to Organic Solvents and Aromatic Hydrocarbons (includes many oils, fuels and greases)
Applications
- Circuit Boards
- Components for High Speed Electronic Printing
- Hard Disk Drives Components
- Integrated Circuits Components
- Photovoltaic Processing Equipment
- Sensitive Processing Components in a Wide Range of Semiconductor Processes
Resin Trade Names
Manufacturer Trade Names
Boedeker Plastics, Inc. stocks & supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and custom profiles and machine parts from these shapes that are produced from plastic resin. In many cases the manufacturer of the shape has their own product trade name. If your specification calls for a specific resin grade or manufacturer trade name, we can supply a shape made from that resin to meet your specification or suggest an equal. If you require a specific resin or brand it must be specified at the time of order.
